schuh.

When you thought they couldn't do it any better, Acne comes along with shoes like this. High or low, that is the question. Thinking about my new job, I reckon I would be acting as a reasonable girl for once.

Not a perfume

Oh I am absolutely smitten by Juliette has a gun's latest scent (ok, it's been on the market for a while but I only just recently got around to try it) which is not a scent by conventional means. Whilst I've always been a fan of the quirky french niche brand, most compositions were just too heavy for my taste. (Not even that fierce ad starring Lou Doillon could change my mind...)

This product consists of only one ingredient, Ambroxan, which is used in all other fragrances as well in order to give them a touch of luxury. The scent only develops after a mere 15 minutes and evolves differently on each person wearing it into a light, wooden and musky note. It really gets you hooked by the first spritz.

Thank god it's payday in a few.

Antwerp, mon amour.

Well, it was really about time to dedicate a post to one of my most beloved getaway-city, Antwerp. Located within a 3 hour journey by car it is one of the best ways to spend a day or weekend off. The city with its beautiful Old Town has a truly seducing offer of Boutiques and stores carrying all the amazing designer items and avantgarde labels you could imagine. On top of that you'll find loads of cafés and good restaurants since the locals seem to enjoy to spend their time enjoying the good sides of life.
The relaxed feeling you get immediately when arriving a this cosmopolitan village is completely contrary to the hectic vibes of other "fashion" cities and yet so refreshingly different.

Here are a few pictures I took during my last stay and I am already looking forward to return in June for seeing the "longest fashion show in the world" - Show 2011.
