so, this is what our first attempt at getting rid of all our old clothes and other unknown treasures looked like. never thought so many people would be interested in buying my old h&m stuff but yes, the girls was makin' some money today. my fears of not even making up for the fee were erased in a jiffy and actually i think i could do this every weekend from now on!

oh patrick, what were you thinking? well, what were these completely unprofessional organisers thinking in the first place? the concert was just amazing, but during the first seconds of his last song, the magic position, they simply pulled the plug and ended the gig since it was 10pm and the neighbours had complained.WTF? and patrick decided to start a little riot on stage throwing around equipment and spitting at the crew. anyhow. i still love him and i'm just a tad saddened about the fact that such a wonderful event was surrounded by a) this absolutely cringeworthy performance by steve strange and b)the ugly ending.
but we got about 85 mins of pure and utter musical and visual enjoyment. he played most songs from the bachelor but also some bits from the magic position and wind in the wires. i was painfully missing songs off lycantropy but oh well. still an amazing evening it was worth waiting for such a long time!

i have been counting the hours literally down to this day and still can't believe it finally arrived! today i'll see my most favourite artist everrrrr live for the first time. ladies and gentlemen, it's patrick wolf. i almost had a heart attack when i found out he'd perform over here in cologne!

really can't wait to get my work done for today while listening to all his albums on repeat to refresh my lyric knowledge (haha i am so pathetic), throw on my sunday best and hope to survive the train ride wearing my huge green bow/veil combo.

and the weathergods will have to have some mercy since the concert was moved to the outside since the organizers apparently realized that the original venue wasn't available for the evening??? wtf? just praying it won't be pissing down cats and dogs like yesterday. and on top of that, micachu and the shapes have canceled their support gig, but no other than STEVE STRANGE of Visage will perform instead. oh well, i am well excited whether he'll actually play my 80's FAVE *fade to grey. hee hee.
