rainshowers mixed with blazing sunshine - extensive shopping in mitte - paule's metaleck in friedrichshain - mystery jets at magnet - dancing til the party closes, sleeping for 2 hours and we're out again - meet me am alex - eastside gallery - extreme photoboothing - humana kaufhaus rocks - bagels and brownies for breakfast, currywurst for lunch, burritos for dinner - catching a sunburn and amazing finds at mauerpark - helmut newton foundation - countless playgrounds - accidentally hot drinks at the spätkauf - bilderträume - scissor-earrings and a 16 quid jil sander blazer, not to forget the ultimate siouxsie shirt (as modeled by agy) - vegan fastfood - vodka lemon - telling embarrassing stories and claiming i'm from essex - taking pictures - walking around - having such a good time and not wanting to return home.

oh well, berlin was a total blast.

now it's all about covering up these dark circles under me eyes and hardcore studying until in 3 weeks.

me and a friend just realised yesterday that times for being cheerful about your bday are starting to be a bit over... after 2010 i'll stop counting, that's for sure! on the other hand, i'm also a bit happy to get older since every year means learning so many new things, growing wiser, better and taller in lots of ways. thinking back, i would never ever even consider to go back to where and who i was at 17. plus, still a long time to go until we're thirty and actually i should now be worried a bit more about this massive focaccia-dough i prepared earlier and which probably is gone through the roof by now.

and when the birds fly south, i reach up and hold their tails...

i've been waiting for a guide to come to take me by the hand.

ok today i look like this, first time wearing this most amazing cut-out blazer, which has been sitting in my closet for over 2 months, can't tell you why, though.

the weather is once more bloody awful, i've no motivation to study or go to uni or do anything productive. at the moment i am just loathing the thought of having to run 5 km on wednesday for charity (not even sure of that).

going out last night was sort of a total waste of eyeliner, i'd say... deary me, yes, i think by now EVERYONE has got the notice that ed banger is oh so cool, but this does not mean you still need to play D.A.N.C.E. and We are Your Friends, signore DJ. in case you have not heard, it's 2k9....

ok, so the mix of the music was, modestly expressed, hideous, (from rap, to 90s via indiepop straight to brainless electro, or shall i say techno? not so sure) and so were, unfortunately, most of the people. at least we have another party over here that we can tick off our "been there, done that, not-going next time" - list.

anyhow, at least the nighttime TV programme was good. ha.

having a lonesome sit-in on a friday night can be quite amusing as well. i just love love love it everytime when i just get carried away rummaging through the web and on the way (re)discovering loads of fantastic blogs. i know that i might sound like an utter freak now, but in moments like that ye olde vaio turns into some sort of rabbit hole and i begin to forget everything around me. oh dear, i should get another cookie and go to bed...

stumbled across this art-installation tucked away in the most random location at a very dodgy cologne underground station right across from this really strange "african sportsbar". anyhow, thought it might be worth taking a picture...
